Quick answer
A minor’s submission is organised by an adult legal representative through an agency’s official channel. Check conditions, consent and shooting rules in advance. Pola’s waitlist is for adults.
Age policies are agency-specific
Check whether the agency represents your child’s age and what material it needs. IMG’s under-18 FAQ, for example, describes applications from ages 14 to 18 with guardian consent. This is not a rule for every child-model agency.
IMG also requests natural daylight snapshots and says professional photography is not necessary for that application. Read the recipient’s requirements before purchasing an elaborate book.
Photographs and personal information
Make a calm, recent series in everyday clothing. Do not publish a home address, school, identity documents or the child’s personal contact. Use a separate adult contact for work enquiries.
Keep control of image distribution. Ask where photographs will appear, who receives them and how publication can be withdrawn. Stop the shoot if the child feels uncomfortable.
Review participation conditions
Ask about adult supervision, schedule, travel, payment and image use. Education, rest and the child’s own comfort belong in the plan. Seek qualified advice about contracts under the rules of your country.
Pola’s current waitlist collects only the parent’s email and product interest. Child photographs and personal details are unnecessary. Child-image generation is not offered at this stage.
